Andy Urban
Central Region & Creekside Scouting Supervisor

On Sunday, September 3rd, the PBR Kansas staff traveled to Johnson County CC in Overland Park, KS to host the MOKAN Fall ID.  This event featured nearly 30 players representing the 2024-to-2027 high school classes from both Kansas and Missouri. Attendees participated in a pro-style workout in front of our staff, collecting unrivaled data through the help of our tech partners, while also collecting high quality video footage of their workout and more.

Today, we will finish our coverage of the event with more in-depth look at some of the standout prospects from a traditional scouting perspective, below. See full profile and video by clicking on the player name or photo.

Brendan Briley RHP / OF / Tonganoxie, KS / 2024

The two-way prospect has made huge gains in the last year on both sides of the ball thanks to the addition of strength throughout his frame. Offensively, the right handed hitter barrel almost every ball for a max EV of 92 and average of 84 and also showed off his speed running a 6.89. On the mound, the right-hander filled up the zone with the fastball running it up to 84.5 with a quick and short arm action.

Brody Cooper RHP / Shawnee Heights, KS / 2026

Cooper is a high-follow arm thanks to his impressive 6-foot-2 and muscular frame and fast arm. Cooper tossed a quality pen in the lower 80s before bumping it up and landing a couple strikes at 85-86 to end his pen.

Grayton Gross LHP / OF / Salina Central Mustangs, KS / 2026

One of the strongest 2026 prospects in the state, Gross was impressive on both sides of the ball. One the mound, the lefty showed arm strength, up to 83, and a four pitch mix that will be tough on hitters as he polishes his command. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has right now power barreling nearly every ball in BP for a max EV of 96 and average of 91. With plenty of arm strength in the OF, Gross will become a weapon as he continues to lower his 60 time.

Brogan Jaworski C / RHP / St. James Academy, KS / 2025

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound catcher has continued to add strength to his game and showed off an impressive round of BP were he sprayed line drives all over the field, maxing out at 93 EV.

Jaden Rose OF / 1B / Blue Valley West, KS / 2024

Few players have improved every area of their game the way Rose has over the past year. Now a sub 7 runner with a 98 EV and 87 OF velo. Those numbers along with his 6-foot-4, 205 pound frame make Rose a must see prospect this spring.

Jett Santoya SS / OF / Augusta, KS / 2027

A young 2027, Santoya shows flashes of a prospect in the making, especially with the bat. Santoya will be an integrating follow as he continues to add strength to his frame.

Gatlin Tilson OF / SS / Andover, KS / 2026

Tilson shows one of the most complete tools sets in the KS class and keeps improving his measurables. Tilson is on the cusp of being a breakout prospect as he continues to polish his skillset.

Camden Morris C / 1B / Blue Valley, KS / 2025

A long and physical frame with more room to add strength, Morris shows the skills to contribute now at the next level with a high celling. Marris shows advanced receiving skills and is comfortable with elite stuff.
