Michigan Insider: Class of 2021 Player Rankings (May)

Throughout the year we have traveled across the state to showcases and games. The fall/winter have proved valuable for many 2021 prospects, with some names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. This fall followed suit and we were able to spot numerous other talented prospects within the class. Below we will take a look at “What’s New At The Top”, "The Risers" and the top uncommitted prospects available.

What's New AT THE TOP

At the top of the rankings we have a couple commits headed to the ACC and SEC. Sitting at the top is the PBR Overall #1 player Luke Leto, followed by Duke commit Alex Mooney and Saborn Campbell who will represent Team Michigan at this Summer’s Future Games.

Luke Leto SS / RHP / Portage Central, MI / 2021 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 1 / POS: 1 Report: SS/RHP Luke Leto is ranked as the top player in the 21’ class regardless of state. There isn't much on a diamond that Leto struggles with. Swings from the left side showcasing pop in the bat with an easy stroke. Has been clocked in the low 90’s on the mound however could potentially be a anchor for a team at SS. At the plate he is off to a hot start this season.
