Jacob Chandler RHP / Papillion LaVista South, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 16 / POS: 3 There is a lot of upside in Chandler's body with long limbs and plenty of room to add quality weight. His motion has a smoothness and consistency that makes it easy to see additional velocity with maturity. The fastball has been up to 88 at the '23 Elite 50 with  2767 RPMs and had good life through the zone with ride/run. Chandler pairs it with a shorter, tighter slider that flashes out pitch potential at 75-77.

JD Moffett RHP / Millard West, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 21 / POS: 5 Strong-bodied RHP has a fastball in the mid-to-upper 80s. Movement is Moffet's best weapon on the mound, creating late hard arm side run combined with late-breaking hands and short quick arm action. His ball can get on hitters quickly and creates weak ground balls consistently from RHH. CH/SL both move in opposing directions, playing off his fastball well and showing better command with SL than CH.

John Hood OF / Norris , NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 29 / POS: 3 Hood has all the athleticism and upside you could want coming from one of the top Class B programs in the state, the Norris Titans. His raw numbers from the All-State event a year ago are at the top of the uncommitted players left on the board (7.15- 60, 92.7- exit velo, 92 OF Velo, 87.2 FB), all of which should improve given the history of the baseball program. Putting it all together on the field consistently has been a challenge at times, but after increased experience in spring and summer, I expect Hood to come out more relaxed and confident this spring, letting the tools shine.

Henry Bartholomew OF / Creighton Prep, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 38 / POS: 5 CF for the Jr Jays had a remarkably consistent spring and summer in '23. Simple set up/load/swing without much movement. He finds the barrel well in-game with occasional pull-side pop accompanying his line drive gap-to-gap approach. He has produced a 94 MPH exit velocity in event BP. Defensively, he shows good jumps and reads and should have improved on his 7.01 60 at the Elite 50 event last spring into the low 6.9s/high 6.8s, which gives him plenty of range to both gaps.

Nick Anglim OF / Omaha Westside, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 44 / POS: 7 Well put together and a multi-sport athlete with success and college interest in football. Nick has the speed (6.95 - 60) and pop (94 exit) to be a highly successful player at the next level. He has played multiple positions in the OF with a line-drive double approach, hitting .294 last spring with 14 RBIs, six doubles, and one triple. An improved athletic profile from an offseason of work and increased production this spring should give Anglim plenty of options should he choose the baseball route.

Harrison Hart OF / Millard South, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 51 / POS: 10 Getting most of his work last spring at the plate, where he had 2 HR, three doubles, and 13 RBIs for the Patriots in a platoon role last year. With the size, raw athletic ability (6.88 - 60, 87 OF Velo, 100.2 exit velo), and a program with a strong history of developing players, I fully expect Hart to thrive in a more prominent role defensively and at the plate or on the mound - whatever he is called upon to do this season.

Cade Zavala C / Bellevue West, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 56 / POS: 8 Undersized but defensively has few weaknesses. 2.09-2.15 pop that's consistently on the bag. He works hard behind the plate at both blocking and receiving. Quickness is his strength, which makes up for the lack of size. He barrels balls consistently at the plate and stays on plane through the zone well.

Michael Sall RHP / Creighton Prep, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 64 / POS: 15 Has the size everyone is looking for and a long, loose arm that has easy effort and produces a fastball in the upper 80s. He will have eyes on him this spring.   In 19.2 innings last spring, Sall had 24 Ks and only one extra-base hit against him. By improving his consistency in the zone and movement of off-speed pitches, he will have all the opportunity he needs, with both of the top pitchers from the Jr Jays staff graduating, to find a place at the next level.

Samuel Clements 3B / Elmwood Murdock, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 65 / POS: 5 Small town three-sport athlete with some raw actions at times. Fastball up to 84.2 with a durable build. He has a chance to be very helpful on a college pitching staff with his better days ahead of him. He flashes some pull-side juice from the right side of the plate with 94.2 exit velo, which could surprise people given the right developmental environment.

Reid Nagel OF / Lincoln Southwest, NE / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 69 / POS: 15 Large Human alert! Reid is an imposing figure on the mound at 6'7"; he moves exceptionally well for his size, with a fastball of 85.9. He lacks some in the zone and movement consistency with his offspeed pitches, but with his frame and how his body moves, I wouldn't be surprised to see some schools hovering around his games when he toes the rubber.
