New England Insider: Updated Class of 2021 Player Rankings (September)

Throughout the year we have traveled across the region to showcases and games. The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2021 prospects, with names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. This fall followed suit and we were able to spot numerous other talented prospects within the class. Below we will take a look at “What’s New At The Top”, "The Risers" and the top uncommitted prospects available.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past spring and summer. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

Covering six states, New England is a prime area for legit baseball talent and now we would like to bring to you the initial 2021 Player Rankings.

Who's At The Top

  • Carlos Pena (video below), right-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting outfielder/first baseman broke out at the Future Games. Swung the bat well and showed an above average fastball at the event.
