Tournament 12 Preview - Ontario Green

Chris Kemlo
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

One of our favourite weeks of the calendar year, Tournament 12 is fast approaching with the kickoff of games at the Rogers Centre beginning this Thursday. With over 160 players from across the country all in one place, this is a great opportunity for the players, as well as us at PBR Canada to see players compete in one of a kind setting and at a very high level.

As we get into our Team Previews, we take a look at Ontario Green as they put together a very athletic roster that has speed and will be able to pitch and compete on the mound. Different from the Ontario Black roster, there is only two players committed on the Green team with infielder Ty Imeson recently signing with Salem International and Bryce Arnold with Campbell University.

Below we take a brief look at the roster, and make sure to follow on our home page and social platforms this week as we bring you live coverage of the 2018 Tournament 12.

THE ARMS

Brandon Deans RHP / OF / Our Lady of Mount Carmel, ON / 2019

Report: Long and lean projectable right-hander who wa part of a combined no-hitter in last years T12 final. Deans is clean on the mound with arm speed and whip out front. The off-speed is developing and the frame has room to add strength. The arms work with clean path from ¾ slot, Deans has the ability to run his fastball in the upper 80’s with life and more to come.
