Tournament 12 Preview - Team British Columbia

Jamie Bodaly
PBR BC Director of Scouting

One of our favourite weeks of the calendar year, Tournament 12 is fast approaching with the kickoff of games at the Rogers Centre beginning this Thursday. With over 160 players from across the country all in one place, this is a great opportunity for the players, as well as us at PBR Canada to see players compete in one of a kind setting and at a very high level.

Below we take a brief look at the roster, and make sure to follow on our home page and social platforms this week as we bring you live coverage of the 2018 Tournament 12.

Tournament 12 Preview - Team British Columbia

THE ARMS

Carter Morris RHP / W.L. Seaton, BC / 2019

Report: Carter is a Canadian Junior National Team member and just recently signed with Sac State College. He is tall, lean and has a quick loose arm which the ball explodes out of his hand and gets on hitters. He throws from a low ¾ arm slot. His fastball is 85-88 and has sink. He throws a slurve which is 72-75 and when its on, its an out pitch for him. His change up can be inconsistent at times but has a chance down the road to become an above average pitch. Carter will be counted on to be one of BC’s aces this year for the Canada Cup.
