Cade Wright 2022 SS (Stephenville HS) Stix South
The uncommitted 5’10” 145lb shortstop was fun to watch, high energy kid that plays the game really hard. Showed solid tools that play up because of his instincts and high baseball IQ. Rhythmic hitter with good barrel control and plate discipline, also looked to drag bunt a couple of times. Gets exceptional reads on the base paths. Athletic infielder with nice actions and footwork, worked hard with his lower half.

Declan Williams 2022 C (Stephenville HS) Stix South
The uncommitted 6’1” 185lb catcher is already a physical kid with a frame that still has plenty of room to develop. Has a real feel for catching behind the plate. Quite receiver that minimizes extra movements, gives a good low target and works up to pitches at the bottom of the zone. Showed some advanced framing techniques. Middle of the order bat with plate presence. Does a nice job of creating separation and stretch in the his midsection as he loads. Makes a lot of hard, loud contact.
