Last season, Bishop Fenwick High School captured the North Division championship in the Greater Catholic League and advanced to the district championship game.

With eight returning starters and six returning pitchers in the rotation, Coach Sherlock is looking to build on last year’s success by defending their division title followed by a longer run in the Division III state tournament

Class of 2013

  • C, Chad Goubeaux – Under the radar catching prospect that is fully recovered from a back injury in 2012. Shows excellent catch and receive skills along with some pop in his bat.
  • 2B, Logan Valentine – The University of Charleston commit earned All-GCL honors in 2012.
  • RHP/IF, Derek Coffey – The 6-foot-1, 205-pound assumes the role of the ace of the staff. His performance helped Bishop Fenwick defeat No. 2 ranked Carlisle in the sectional tournament last year.
  • OF/C, Keegan Vaughn – Finished second on the team in hits (26) and RBI (21) last season.

Class of 2014

  • IF/RHP, Jacob Forsythe – Started at third base as a sophomore while collecting 22 hits in 25 games played.
  • RHP/IF, Tyler Goubeaux – Compiled a 2.01 ERA last season including a performance against Division I state champion Moeller where he only allowed two-hits.
  • RHP, Billy Robinson- 6-foot-3, 195-pound righty that shows good arm strength on the mound and great potential for the future.
  • LHP/1B, Logan Reardon – Pitched mostly in relief in 2012, but projects to be in the mix for a spot in the starting rotation or enlarged role out of the bullpen.
  • RHP, Connor Hemmelgarn – Will add depth to the pitching staff with a low 80’s fastball.
  • SS, Connor Mesker – Returns as the everyday shortstop after starting in the middle as a sophomore.

Class of 2015

  • OF, Dallas Hall – Solid prospect that projects to be in the starting outfield
  • LHP/OF, Andrew Nix – Will likely help on the mound as well as compete for a spot in the outfield.
  • LHP/1B, Brandon Veda – The southpaw shows promise on the mound and will compete for time on the mound and at first.
