Rankings Insider: 2021 Catchers

With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2021 AZ Player Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2021 class. By position, we will start to comb through the lists, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with some of the top uncommitted catchers in the class. 

The updated rankings features a total of 17 primary catchers in the top 142. Currently, there are 2 backstops in the rankings  that are committed to DI schools. This list includes Ryan Campos (Arizona) and Tanner Smith (Oregon State) who are ranked in the Top 5 in the class. Campos is also ranked No. 185 nationally while Smith is ranked No. 358 himself. Here are the reports of some of the top uncommitted catchers in the class that one should keep an eye on going forward:
