It's officially that time of the year, and once again our staff will be updating the rankings throughout the next few weeks. First up is the Class of 2024, and although we are not expanding in terms of total number of players ranked, we do see some movement throughout the Top 225. Today, we continue our look into the 2024 class, as we unveil the full top 225.

One of the more substantial risers in this latest update, uncommitted backstop Nick Bournousouzis impressed immensely at the Calvert Hall PBR Scout Day in late October, leading to a rise inside the top 60 of the rankings. Plenty of physicality in the 5-foot-11, 185 pound frame, the Calvert Hall product is a must see on both sides of the ball. It's a controlled, explosive operation at the dish that creates plenty of lift and backspin to the pull side with a heavy barrel. Defensively, the hands and footwork are quick and clean with some of the top arm strength behind the dish in the class that only looks to improve and add carry. Certainly one to circle this upcoming spring.

Another riser inside the top 100, first baseman Braydin Kurz (Mount St. Joseph) may have some of the more eye-opening pop in the class, and certainly amongst the leaders when it comes to raw strength across uncommitted players. A broad-shouldered, strong 6-foot-2, 220 pound frame, Kurz will not be overlooked when it comes to a physicality standpoint. Creating plenty of torque and bat speed at the dish, the ball explodes to the pull side gap and has shown the ability to manipulate the barrel and spray line drives to the middle. As contact rate and approach continues to develop, this is a left-handed power bat that should make some serious noise in the near future.
