SCOUTING REPORT
Matousek is a strong and athletic 6-foot, 180-pound, left-handed hitting outfield prospect in Missouri’s recruiting class out of Kirkwood HS. At the event he ran a 7.46 second 60 and 4.83 home-to-first. At the plate, 87 mph exit velocity, athletic stance, quiet load, flat bat path, barrel in the zone for long time, quick hands, showed hard line drive and ground ball contact to center and right field with some pop. Defensively in the outfield, athletic actions, quick first step, good routes to the baseball, long arm action, throws have some carry, positional velo of 77 mph, mostly accurate throws.
