Over the weekend of October 4 – 6, Prep Baseball Report Tournaments hosted its first tournament in North Carolina at the USA Baseball National Training Center in Cary, NC. The Carolina Fall Championships saw 38 teams from several states converge on the Triangle area to compete in a championship setting.
Teams were bracketed by their age first and then into pools. Pool play winners from each age division advanced to a single elimination tournament to decide a champion at each age division. You can catch up on the action from each event in the links below, recapping each championship run.
Below we begin to breakdown some of the play on the field. The 14U and 15U age divisions featured young players, but players that are beginning to make their name. Prep Baseball Report had scouts on the ground. Below are player reports and video from PBR scouts in attendance.
