With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Cardinal Mooney Cardinals

Team Name: Cardinal Mooney Cardinals

2023 Record: 10-12
2023 Tourney Finish: Sectional Finals loss to Garfield
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5

Coach Outlook: "We return 6 letterwinners, 2 of which are seniors. Our schedule is challenging, but we're proud to play it as it'll prepare us for the postseason. We expect to play many different lineups, which include a handful of freshman. We're excited to see how our lineup unfolds throughout the season, as we have many spots up for grabs. If we want to have a successful season, we're going to have to do it as a TEAM. We lack varsity experience for the most part, but our roster is talented, excited, and ready to go."
