With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Malvern Hornets

Team Name: Malvern Hornets
Head Coach: Kyle Stolzer
Division: IV
2023 Record: 5-16
2023 Tourney Finish: Sectional Finals loss to Hiland
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/6

Coach Outlook: "We are very excited for this season. Most of the guys have experienced a lot winning this year, with the success of the football team and the basketball team being the only team in the state of Ohio to go undefeated. We are hoping that all that success translates to the baseball diamond. We are led by seniors Ethan Bush and Kyle Irvine who have put a ton of work in this off season and are expecting big things out of them. The combination of those two seniors and all the experience we have returning from last year’s team, we expect to have a fun and exciting season."
