Rogers Centre - Today embarked the beginning of Tournament 12. A tournament hosted by Roberto Alomar, Baseball Canada, and Toronto Blue Jays Alumni for players across the country.

We will cover the entire week with game reports, stats, live twitter updates, along with an All Ontario Team at the conclusion of the tournament. The three Ontario teams participated in scout day with an hour workout in showcase format. Below we take a look at the day’s top performers on both sides of the baseball.

ONTARIO BLACK

Offensive Standouts - Uncommitted third baseman and 2016 grad Brad Aldred showed a balanced swing with loose and fast hands, gap power and occasional home run pop. 2016 Notre Dame commit catcher Andrew Yerzy displayed an effortless swing with power to all fields with great backspin on the ball. 2016 uncommitted grad Luke Turino used the opposite field very well with power today, utilizing all of his 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. Similar in stature to Turino, committed 2016 grad Elliot Curtis showed an all around good approach, while using his quick hands to hit the ball gap to gap.
