Indiana insider: A look at 14 Uncommitted 2016 Outfielders

By Phil Wade
Indiana Executive Director

With the summer baseball season complete and the fall season starting, here are 14 outfielders from the 2016 class still on the board.

Grant Theil, Jasper HS: Theil is an athletic 6-foot-3, 180 pound outfielder that possesses athletic actions with fluid footwork defensively.  At the Top Prospect Games in June he ran a 6.85 60 yard dash. Throws from outfield top out at 82 from a short, loose arm action. Offensively, Theil hits from a balanced setup with a back load.  His stride is short and possesses quick hands.  He displays a solid approach to the baseball keeping a level path through the zone and regularly getting to extension. He's recorded a high exit velocity of 86 mph off the tee.
