Ohio Insider: Updated Class of 2020 Player Rankings (April)

The 2020 class has the makings of one of the strongest classes the Buckeye state has seen. Throughout the year we have traveled across the state to showcases and games. The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2020 prospects, with many names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. This fall followed suit and we were able to spot numerous other talented prospects within the class. Below we will take a look at “What’s New At The Top”, "The Risers", "The Newcomers" and "The Sleepers".

What's New At The Top

When it comes to the top spot in the 2020 class there was a clear two-man race. Ohio State commit Mackenzie Wainwright (St. Edward)  has owned the top spot from the beginning but RHP Wyatt Hudepohl (St. Xavier) has put his name in the conversation for the state’s top prospect. Wainwright maintains his top spot but an argument could be made for either prospect.
