With rankings updates comes changes. While the 2024 class is not expanding in terms of number of players ranked, we have some significant movement inside of the Top 250. Today is our second and final look into the VA/DC 2024 Rankings Update. 

Today we take a look at a new face that has entered the rankings. Liberty Christian outfielder Braden Weaver put together some quality at bats in the spring in front of our staff and that carried over into the summer. Weaver showed some sneaky power to all parts of the field, including a couple homeruns when our staff was on hand to see him. Weaver has recently announced his commitment to Liberty.

Another addition to the 2024 Top 250 is Deep Run senior, Caleb Dillon. Dillon showed some offensive upside this summer. Adjustability in the swing, short and quick to contact, and occasional in game power from middle to pull. Our staff thought he did a really nice job adjusting to counts and matching planes. He should step into a front and center role with the Wildcats this spring. Also, Dillon is a recent High Point commit.
