The Arkansas high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 26, opening day for regular season action under AAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2024 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach’s Insight:

“Our biggest strength will be our ability to play defense even with a lot of inexperienced starters. Our guys have worked really hard and have really bought into our defensive philosophy this off-season. Our guys are also competing hard and getting after each other everyday in practice. We are hoping that translates to being able to play scrappy and grind games out all season long. Our biggest concern has to be our pitching. We don't have a ton of arms and we need to be more consistent with throwing strikes. We have a lot of young guys that we will be depending on this upcoming season, they will have to grow up real fast playing in our conference. ” – Ryan Bridges, head coach
