As the fall winds down and players prep for the upcoming Spring, we expanded the 2025 GA Rankings to 255 prospects. As the build-up for the high school season is in full swing, we highlight the top 10 with more to follow this week with risers and top uncommitted prospects.

As always, the evaluation process is a fluid and ongoing process with multiple viewings in order to get the best feel for players abilities. It’s important to note that as players continue their development some show marked improvement at a much more rapid pace. That doesn’t indicate that other players got worse or went backwards, it’s just how player development works. As the year unfolds, players make improvements and new prospects pop up on the radar expanding the PBR rankings universe. In addition to the evaluations of players, our scouts, both those in Georgia and nationally, have also had multiple discussions with each other to review our individual lists and then make adjustments based on what we've each seen.

Biggest Risers

Josh Gibbs SS / Forsyth Central, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 8 / POS: 5 OverallRank: 78 / POS: 26 + We saw Gibbs a few times last spring, and he displayed all the right tools for a big jump in the coming months. He ended up batting .383 in the spring, and lead Forsyth Central into the playoffs with a 20-12 record. What really set Gibbs apart was his performance at NPI where he hit .462 with 1 homerun and 12 RBI's. The thing with Gibbs is that you know you are going to get consistent defense in the field with a sneaky strong arm, and now with the power at the plate the sky is the limit for him.

Jackson Peavy LHP / Peach County, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 10 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 97 / POS: 7 + Peavy has been a staple name at the top of the 2025 rankings for a while now. He was a two time future gamer, and capped off 2023 with a 6 up 6 down performance on a Friday night against New Jersey with 300 college coaches in attendance. He saw a big jump in velo at a young age, and has since polished his fastball command making his breaking stuff that much more effective. He has been a fun player to watch develop, and is no where near his ceiling.

Ethan Adams RHP / Alpharetta , GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 17 / POS: 4 OverallRank: 178 / POS: 51 + Adams made substantial strides on the mound throughout the 2023 campaign, especially with fastball going from 85-87 in January to finishing the summer living in the low-90s. An excellent mover on the mound with huge extension and tough, near over-the-top slot, Adams will create hard arm-side run that jumps on hitters at will. Low-70s curveball holds 12-6 shape consistently while creating a ton of depth that plays well out of the slot. Will lock in and pound the strike zone with both pitches to create both in-zone whiffs and called strikes. Still a two-way prospect with a heavy barrel from the right-side, but the upside as an arm could be immense.

Nathan Nance OF / Appling County, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 32 / POS: 4 OverallRank: 364 / POS: 66 + Nance is nearly the biggest riser of them all. We first saw Nance in May at the LakePoint Open where he was a top performer. We followed him into the summer where he continued to perform at a high level. Fast forward to this fall, and he comes to the Georgia Southern Campus tour with added size and increased metrics across the board. Everything within his game has improved. He dropped his 60 time from a 6.88 to a 6.69, and that is with added muscle mass. We will for sure be out to see Nance early spring for what is sure to be a breakout high school season.

Clayton Hicks RHP / Evans , GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 34 / POS: 10 OverallRank: 464 / POS: 141 + Hicks has emerged as one of the top uncommitted arms in the state. After showing his consistency throughout the summer, he made an apperance at top prospects games and earned an invite to the Future Games shortly after. He has natural arm speed, operating out of a high 3/4 slot. The fastball stayed in the mid to upper 80's all summer with a 3 pitch mix that he could consistently throw for strikes.

Parker Bryant RHP / West Laurens, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 38 / POS: 13 OverallRank: 483 / POS: 146 + Bryant and his loud two-way tools have flown under the radar for far too long, and now we’re starting to see a strong rise up state and national boards. Owning some of the best feel to spin in the class, Bryant will routinely grab up to 3000 RPM on a mid-70s curveball that has a strong affinity for creating swords, and an 87-89 mph fastball that averages 2500 with consistent arm-side run. Can really swing it from the right-side with ability to create leverage and carry to the pull-side that can lead to above-average raw pop in-game. Defensive profile behind the dish rounds the profile out with good flexibility in a stout, 6-foot frame and really lets the arm talent shine. The Georgia commit looks poised for a strong spring to continue this upward track towards the top of the class.

Grant Hollier OF / River Ridge, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 66 / POS: 13 + The frame is college ready at 6-foot-4 215-pounds, and can't fail to mention he moves with ease posting a 6.82 60 time in the June at Top Prospect Games. The bat speed is effortless, posting impressive Blast Motion metrics. Hollier be one to keep an eye on this spring at River Ridge with some real potential to become a power threat.

Judd Spear RHP / Banks County, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 68 / POS: 22 + Spear opened some eyes in his PBR Cup outing this fall, and committed to Georgia Tech shortly after. The 6-foot-5 frame has all the potential to be a power arm down the arm. He is already up to 90 with an impressive change up and power breaking ball.

Noah Jordi 1B / Liberty university online academy, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 94 / POS: 2 + Jordi has been under the radar since we did not get to see him this past spring. He made the trip to Georgia Southern for the campus tour, and showed strong defensive ability at 1B, and an impressive round from the left side. Jordi has the potential to be a power bat, and continue to climb up the '25 rankings.

Kaden(KT) Thompson OF / Cherokee Bluff, GA / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 64 / POS: 11 + Thompson has become one of the stronger all around athletes in the class. The 2 sport athelte juggled football and baseball all summer, and made an apperance at Top Prospect Games. He has a strong, sturdy frame with a smooth, effortless swig from the left side. He is a versatile in the field being able to play OF or hop over to 1B. The 6-foot-2 frame posted a 6.79 60 time right after 7 on 7's for football. Thompson will be one to keep an eye on at Cherokee Bluff, coming off a record breaking season.
