With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: CVCA Royals

Team Name: CVCA Royals
Head Coach: Jason Herblet
Division: II
2023 Record: 16-10
2023 Tourney Finish: Sectional Finals loss to Cloverleaf
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5

Coach Outlook: "We are excited about the season ahead. Most importantly, and probably what I am most excited about is we have a group of young men that want to glorify God through the game of baseball. We have a group of upperclassman that love the game of baseball and have put in a ton of time and work in the offseason to improve in all aspects of their game. Losing a few seniors and a couple of starters from last years squad, who decided not to play this year, there is going to be healthy competition to see who wins starting positions at many spots. We also have some very promising young talent that will compete for time this spring. We are excited about the growth of the program and will have 3 teams (Varsity, JVA and JVB) for the first time in quite sometime. I believe the future is bright. We have many guys that have put in the time during the offseason and are eager to the get the 2024 season started!"
