With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Franklin Wildcats

Team Name: Franklin Wildcats
Head Coach: Kyle Wainscott
Division: II
2023 Record: 18-12
2023 Tourney Finish: District Finals loss to CHCA
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/6

Coach Outlook: "Team will be very young going into the season experience wise, but we return our starting shortstop, catcher, and center fielder so we will be strong up the middle. Defensively I look for us to be very good and take care of the baseball. If our young arms step up and can compete within the strike zone, we will have a chance to win some games. Team will lack some power at the plate but returns a lot of speed and should be able to steal over 100 bases again in 2024."
