With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Lakewood Rangers

Team Name: Lakewood Rangers

2023 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Medina
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/5

Coach Outlook: "We are really excited to build on the foundation of last year's season. We are returning 3 of our top Starting Pitchers ('24 Michael Klasa, '24 Drew Jablonowski, '25 Logan Ellis) that combined for a 1.70 ERA in 20 starts. The offense is returning middle of the lineup performers in All-District HM '25 Leo Soneson and All-Conference Second Team '24 Aidan Maxwell, who combined for 38 runs, 23 RBI's and 10 XBH in 2023. The group is also excited to add '24 Andrew Krankowski back from injury as well as Sophomores '26 Cooper Russell and '26 Nick Hart. These additions plus the experience and pitching we bring back have us excited for the 2024 season."
