With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. 2024 Spring Team Preview: Mansfield Senior Tygers

Team Name: Mansfield Senior Tygers
Head Coach: J.R. Davis
Division: II
2023 Record: 7-18
2023 Tourney Finish: Sectional Semifinals loss to Bellvue
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 9/6

Coach Outlook: "Our goal this year is to win more than 9 games. The team has made it a goal to win more games than what we had my senior year (9 Wins). Another goal is to win some conference games as well. We have not won a conference game since I’ve become head coach and I think at least since 2017 or later. The way we achieve these goals is to come into every game ready to play. We are not fortunate enough to be a program to have a bad game and still expect to win. It starts with practice every day and coming into games expecting to win as well."

  • Jake Zimmer - Sr.: Returning 2nd baseman, Pitcher. 2 year starter, team leader.
  • Josh Malone - Jr.: Returning Catcher/Pitcher. 2 year starter, team leader.
  • Justin Bland - Sr.: Returning 3rd Baseman/Pitcher. 2 Year starter, will be the Sr leader for pitching
  • Guy Trader - Soph.: Utility/Pitcher, Has a year of varsity under his belt Dominique Horn - Soph.: SS/Pitcher, Has a year of varsity under his belt
