With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. 2024 Spring Team Preview: Milan Edison Chargers

Team Name: Milan Edison Chargers
Head Coach: Sean Hoover
Division: III
2023 Record: 23-5
2023 Tourney Finish: Regional Finals loss to Ottawa Hills
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/4

Coach Outlook: "We have a good combination of returning lettermen and young talent, but will be a fairly young and inexperienced team. I like our pitching depth. We will have to be strong defensively as our young lineup learns how to hit at the varsity level. If we can find a way to hit consistently and score runs, we have the capability of having another good season."

  • Aiden Drake, RHP/OF, 2024, R/R, 3 year letter winner. Last year's stats, 26.2 IP, 15 H, 4 BB, 30 K, 3 ER, .778 ERA
  • Marcus Medina, 2B/OF, 2024, R/R, 2 year letter winner. Last year's stats, .345 avg, 3 2B, 19 RBI, 25 SB
  • Carson Smith, RHP, 3B, 2024, R/R, 3 year letter winner. Last year's stats, .323 avg, 4 2B, 25 RBI
  • Bryson Wittmer, LHP/OF, 2026, R/L, 1 year letter winner, Louisville recruit, Last season's stats, 19.2 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 37 K, .291 avg, 6 2B, 1 HR, 17 RBI, 15 SB. Bryson will not play this season due to a wrist injury.
