With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Roger Bacon Spartans

Team Name: Roger Bacon Spartans
Head Coach: Terry Mullen
Division: II
2023 Record: 11-15
2023 Tourney Finish: Sectional Semifinal loss to Wyoming
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/11

Coach Outlook: "We have a tremendous group of young talent, led by a solid senior class. We were extremely young on Varsity in 2023. We started 4-5 freshmen most games. There were a few moments where we had 7 freshmen in the game at one time. We took our lumps, but also gained a lot of experience and confidence. Our senior class has a lot of big game experience. Six of our seniors were on our 2022 Final Four team. We will look to them to set the tone this season. This is an exciting group to coach, who are hungry to compete."
