The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

• Coach Branch and the 2024 Grangers look to continue their success in Class 4A. in 2023 Lagrange finished 31-10 and was the Class 4A State Runner-Up. Coach Branch in 2024 will rely on their depth in the offensive lineup after losing their top two arms from 2023. Senior SS Robbie Parker will lead the defense and look to produce offensively. Another Senior Tanner Langley will patrol the OF and look to have a strong Senior year at the plate. Juniors Cooper Stephens, Gryson Cockrell, and Rob Skinner will look to provide power to the lineup, along with Junior Caden Wood leading the Pitching Staff. Sophomores Mason Calhoun, and Blake Miller will look to be key factors in the Grangers success in 2024. Lagrange will open their 2024 campaign against Northside on 2/14.
