PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Daily Roundup:

Edmond North (OK) 10 Chaparral 7

Chaparral traveled to Arizona for the Coach Bob Invitational tournament, and came up short on Tuesday losing to Edmond North from Oklahoma.  Chaparral, down 6 to 4 going into the bottom of the 5th inning put up a 3 spot to take the lead 7 to 6.  Edmond North responded in the top of the 6th to tie the game up, but the 7th scored 3 runs to win 10 to 7.  Chaparral players, Nolan Ackerman (2019) and Alex Potter (2018) had good games at the plate with each of them having 2 RBI’s.

Burke (NE) 10 Castle View 0

Castle View is playing in the same tournament in Arizona over spring break, and things did not go to well in their game on Tuesday losing 10 to 0.  Unfortunatley for the SaberCats they no hit in the game.  Burke’s Hunter Wauh (2018) went 5 innings with no walks and 8 K’s.

Douglas County 13 Apollo (Glendale AZ) 5

Douglas County took it to Apollo HS on Tuesday in the Coach Bob Invitational scoring runs in every inning but the 1st and the 6th.  (No stats available)

Doherty 13 Pueblo South 2

Doherty down 2 runs going into the top of the 4th put up 3 runs and then just exploded on Pueblo South in the top of the 5th scoring 10 runs, and went on to win 13 to 2.  Doherty’s H. Butterfield had a huge day going 4 for 4, scoring 2 runs, and driving in 3, and pitcher Jordan McDonald threw 5 innings allowing just 2 runs, to go along with 7 strikeouts.

Mead 4 Fort Morgan 2

With the game tied after 4 innings, Mead scored 3 in the bottom of the 5th and then held on to win 4 to 2 on Tuesday.  Mead was led by, John Edwards (2018) who was 2 for 3 with an RBI.  Pitching for Mead was Brady Carstens (2018) who threw a complete game giving up just 5 hits, 2 runs (1 earned run), and striking out 11 hitters.
