Wisconsin 2019 Rankings Updated
March 15, 2019
The 2019 WIAA season is just around the corner, and before we unveil our Power 25 Team Rankings, let's start with the 2019 Player Rankings.
The 2019 class has been rather quiet since our last update, with the Super 60 being the biggest event since then. Nationally, we've also launched our 2019 Overall Rankings earlier this week - six Wisconsin prospects made the cut.
This year's Super 60 saw two of Wisconsin's finest participate, RHP Jack Washburn (Webster, Oregon State) and C Nate Stevens (Waunakee, Arkansas); both residing in Wisconsin's top five.
One notable riser heading into the 2019 season is RHP Braden Mork (River Falls). Mork is a projectable right-hander who has seen significant gains over the past six months. Mork went from a loose, mid-80s arm last fall that could scratch higher velos when he committed to Bradley, to a guy who is now sitting in the upper-80’s and can reach 92 mph. His pitchability is still making strides but the stuff is clearly there. If Mork continues to progress at this rate, he could end up as one of the top-10 prospects in the state.
