EARLY SIGNING PERIOD - DIVISION 1 RECRUITING CLASS BREAKDOWN

The NCAA early signing period starts November 8th, 2017 and will run through the 15th. With the start of the fall signing period upon us, we look to break down each individual Division I commitment from in-state prospects, where they are headed and what tools they will bring with them.

MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY HAWKS

Overview: The Hawks 2018 signing class is stacked with notable arms and impact position players. Led by star OF TJ Scuderi (Toms River South HS, NJ) who had a monster year for the Indians in 2017, the Hawks are bringing some high-ceiling talent to the Jersey Shore in the fall of '18. RHP Matt Ziminsky(Whitehall HS, PA), RHP Steve Aldrich (Bensalem HS, PA), RHP Mike DiMino (Jackson Memorial HS, NJ) and RHP Nick Houghton (Nottingham HS, NJ) lead an incoming staff of hurlers that are bound to make an influence right away. All four consistently rev their fastballs into the upper 80s with sliders that can be commanded for strikes. Don't sleep on California-native RHP Peyton Maple, whose fastball has jumped up to 91 MPH and will bring yet another power arm to the staff in West Long Branch.
