2019 LHP Walker Ladner (Florenece HS, MS) has been named this week’s Prep Baseball Report Mississippi Player of the Week thanks to his outstanding performance on the mound and at the plate.

The Hinds CC signee struck out ten hitters over 7.2 innings of work in two appearances and finished the week with an ERA of .913.  At the plate, Ladner hit .500 with two doubles, three triples, and a home run.  He tallied 11 RBI and finished with a 1.118 slugging percentage, also hitting for the cycle on Friday night.

For his efforts, Ladner has been named the Prep Baseball Report Mississippi Player of the Week for the week of March 4 – March 10.
