Top Prospect - St. Louis: Missouri Outfielders

The third annual Top Prospect Games - St. Louis, took place Tuesday, June 4th. The invite-only event brought together some of the top uncommitted 2020s from Missouri and Illinois to SIU-Edwardsville. The event consisted of a showcase in the morning and games in the afternoon with 30+ colleges in attendance.
Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.

Missouri Outfielders
Ryan Fortune RHP / OF / Kirkwood, MO / 2020Fortune is a 6-foot 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. He ran a 4.55 home to first and has an 85 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall and balanced stance, minimal load with short stride, early to toe touch, middle to pull side contact during hitting evals. In the outfield, 81 mph positional velocity, three quarters arm slot, plays through the ball with clean transfer and quick feet. |
Jared Kuchta OF / 1B / Fort Zumwalt East, MO / 2020Kutcha is a 6-foot-1 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2020 class. He ran a 4.80 home to first and has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, crouched stance, minimal load, short to contact with high finish in hands, gap to gap approach, stays balanced during swing.
