Inside the Rankings: 2022 LHP

The recent update in Nevada's 2022 Class saw the top five staying strong each of them earning a spot in the PBR National Top 300 Rankings. The class is lead by a trio of Pac 12 commits in Justin Crawford and Mason Neville both headed to Coach Jay Johnson at University of Arizona and McQueen's two sport standout, Robby Snelling, headed to play for the Cardinals at Stanford. Bishop Gorman product, Demitri Diamant, headed to Georgia Tech and Reno outfielder and future Oregon Duck, Grayson Grinsell, both attended the inaugural PBR Nevada ProCase, solidified themselves among the top prospects in their class both locally and nationally after the performances they turned in. Long Beach State commit, Ty Coombs, was a standout at the GBG Vegas Scout Day and after a successful summer saw his ranking rise to #6 overall. The current state of baseball at the NCAA and JuCo levels is still in limbo leaving a significant number of uncommitted prospects in which any other year would have most likely had their collegiate destinations selected are still fighting for the opportunity.
