The 2024 Nevada high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Nevada.

We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Nevada. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Top 10 Team Rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

 Team Outlook

After a deep run in the Class 3A State Tournament in 2023, Churchill County is set to make another deep run this Spring as they return seven starting position players and six arms. The Greenwave put their high expectations in the hands of three upperclassmen, Baylor Sandberg, James Kelsey and Brady Alves, a trio of key returners that Coach Horn expects to make a significant impact this Spring. Nevada's 3A Class has depth in talent in the 2024 Class and a key separator is the Underclassment who step up to make their impact as well.  Coach Horn has tabbed Uncommitted junior, Anthony Juarez, as their player that could be another difference maker this Spring and help lead Churchill County to a State Title run.
