Season Outlook
The Staley Falcons fell short in last year's Class 5 State Championship game to a talented Christian Brothers College team, but are loaded with seniors and ready to make a run in 2016. The Falcons will be lead by a pair of 1st Team All State selections in senior OF Jack Duffy and senior SS Ross Messina.  Senior C Sean Cooley will an experienced game caller and received honorable mention All-State awards last season.  Senior LHP Hunter Swift, a Jefferson College commit, started the state championship game last season and look lead the Falcons on the mound.  Staley's staff will be deep in 2016.  They will look junior RHP Matt Russell, and senior RHP Hunter McMahon to play a big role on the mound.  They will be joined with senior RHP John Basterache and senior LHP Connor Creekmore to round out a very solid pitching staff.  The Falcons will look for senior OF Mitchell McCallister to have an increased roll in 2016 and look for talented and athletic soph OF Rod Criss to play a big part in the teams success.  Staley has all the pieces to make another appearance in the Class 5 Final Four and claim the state championship.
