Pitching will be a key factor for Holt in 2018 as Cody Hacker, Nick Schmidt and Jacob Thompson enter their third year at the varsity level.  Braedon Mathys will factor in as a starter on the mound and at first base.  Offensively, the Indians will feature UT-Martin commit, Hayden Cooper, a 6-foot-3 185-pound shortstop/third baseman. Drew Law and Matt Hart will factor in as starters and physical catcher, Nick Wilke, will look to improve offensive numbers.  The Indians have the makings of making a run in he state playoffs.
