UNCOMMITTED SPOTLIGHT

2025 POWER BATS

Dylan Jacobs 3B / 1B / Mount Vernon , WA / 2025

6-foot, 200 lbs with an extra strong build and stocky frame. Sets up in the box with a slightly open stance and relaxed posture. Tall stature with some weight gathered on backside. Upper half starts slightly rotated inward. Closes off stance with a low leg lift and hover. Uses a scap load to create stretch against front side. Hands stay loaded & tight to rear shoulder throughout. Levers stay short and work quick to the ball, allowing him to create bat speed in a tight window. Heavy barrel action through the zone. Easy lift to pull-side with impressive contact to all fields. Finishes against a strong front side. Defensively has a steady, methodical pace at 3B with clean footwork and a soft glove hand. Stays light on his feet and keeps momentum behind the play. Hips get low to the ball, showing quality mobility in lower half. Stays over his glove hand with a hip hinge as he funnels ball in. High ¾ slot with quality arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond.
Peak EV - 96.3 mph
Peak Bat Speed - 76.0 mph

Andrew Fetty 1B / RHP / Kamiak, WA / 2025

6-foot, 225 lbs with a strong build throughout and proportional frame. Offensively, sets up with a tall, narrow stance in the box with upright posture. Direct alignment towards pitcher. Takes a low forward stride to get into a wider hitting base as hands stretch down and back to create separation. Lower hand placement allows him to slot his barrel into the zone early, Giving him extra depth/lag with his swing path. Gets on plane early and stays level through the zone. Quick, explosive wrists in swing with strength at point of contact. Keeps everything inside of the ball and rotates fully through contact. At 1B, starts in a wide, athletic base with flexion in lower half. Quick first step when moving laterally. Sound footwork with noticeable feel for how to move around the bag. Easy exchange on the 3-6-3 turns. Low ¾ slot with a clean arm action with length out front at release. Strong profile for 1B as a left-handed power bat.
Peak EV - 101.1 mph
Peak Bat Speed - 79.6 mph

Logan Lipscomb 3B / 1B / Emerald Ridge, WA / 2025

6’4, 220 with an athletic trim and physical frame. Sets up with a narrow, upright stance and front side very closed off to the pitcher. Takes a low forward stride to get into a wider, more athletic hitting base. Uses a deep scap load to stretch back and hands and rotates upper half inward, showing his number to the pitcher. Exceptional bat speed as he rotates aggressively to initiate swing. Hands stay tight to the body and he keeps his levers short. High finish with consistent loft to pull-side. Mostly line drive contact when working up the middle. Ball jumps off barrel. Creates leverage against a firm front side at contact. Defensively at 3B, starts with a wide, balanced set-up and a quick first step. Moves easy laterally while maintaining body control and keeping momentum behind the ball. Has quality mobility in lower half and showed ability to get glove hand low while on the move. Stays square when funneling ball in. Short, compact arm action with ¾ release.
