Washington 2025 Rankings: Fall Update

The Washington 2025 class rankings have been updated and expanded as we prepare for another preseason packed with event offerings for prospects in the area. 

The top 10 remains the same from our late summer update but the overall list expands to 155 total prospects and there is plenty of movement in the top half of the group.

No stopping Xavier Neyens

The long standing #1 prospect in the state for 2025 and a Top 10 national prospect, ‘25 Xavier Neyens (Mount Vernon/Oregon State commit) continues to perform as one of the top prospects in the entire country. This summer was a big opportunity as he earned the right to perform with the 2024 class at the Area Code Games in August. Needless to say he capitalized on the chance and was one of the top overall performers amongst elite talent. Offensively he posted some elite output this summer at our Bannerwood workout when he topped with a 102.0 mph Exit Velocity and bat speed up to 89.2 mph. He also touched 90 from SS and 93 from the OF. 


In addition to the offensive prowess, he’s a bonafide pitching prospect thanks to his low 90s FB and sharp SL. 


The Top 10 remains the same but there are some names to watch on the outside that could make a push towards the top with a strong 2024 season


At #12 is OF Jordan Holloway (O’Dea). At 6’3, 190, he’s one of the more complete athletic packages in the class with a great combination of size, speed and strength. The former Junior Future Game prospect has really lived up to the expectations when he burst onto the scene a few years back. Looking ahead to this upcoming season, there’s enough potential in the bat to push higher up on the list and his tools could elevate his game to another level as he continues to get more experience. Washington commit.

Up to #13 is ultra talented LHP Jonah Aase (Meridian). The Washington commit impressed back in Fall of 2022 with command of a 4 pitch arsenal and a knack for missing barrels. Back then, he was pounding the zone with a FB at 80-81. Presently the velocity has ticked up into the mid 80s consistently and he can reach back for the upper 8s when he cuts it loose. He puts up video game numbers during the spring season and should put together 2 more dominant seasons on the bump to close out his prep career. 

#15 OF/RHP Justin Fuller (La Center) has some of the most explosive pure tools in the class and really took a step forward with his pitching acumen this past season. He’s always flashed a live arm, up to 88 mph on the bump last year and 92 from the OF. He’s also a plus plus runner with exceptional burst and easy strides once he’s underway. His ability to impact both sides of the ball could give him major helium in 2024. Offensively it’s top of the line-up potential with a quick, direct swing and strong hands. Oregon State commit

Uncommitted Names to Watch

‘25 SS Martyn Hernandez (Rogers) is arguably one of the best pure defenders in the class with his natural ability to pick it at SS and make tough plays seem ordinary. He excels with his short range quickness and his body control allows him to consistently play low. Offensively it’s a contact approach with a middle of the field swing. He’s strong at the point of contact and can drive the ball with more intent than you might initially think

‘25 LHP Adam Jay (Tacoma) has some of the best overall polish of any arm in the class. A true 3-4 pitch lefty who manipulates all quadrants of the zones with various speeds and pitch shapes. Jay  consistently worked in the 82-85 range throughout the spring summer while shaping multiple breaking balls and using a quality CH. Give the ease of operation with the arm swing and his delivery, he could see an uptick in velo for the 2024 season and make himself an even tough match-up for opposing hitters. 

‘25 INF Gavin McBride (Kalama) shoots up the list to #37 overall thanks in large part to his offensive power potential and strength. At 6’3, 190 he has a terrific profile for corner INF or OF. What stands out the most about the power is how easily he creates bat speed in a tight window with quiet actions. He stays tall at contact with a strong lead leg block and high finish for additional leverage. Exciting bat to watch in 2024.
