Dylan Hefflinger and PBR Staff
Editor in Chief/Scout

Prep Baseball is very excited to announce a new event that will encompass the top rising Sophomore players in the Midwest and Canada. The Midwest Super Sophomore Games will be hosted at Indiana University on August 2-4, 2024. The event will be comprised of six teams, featuring the top Sophomores in the region. The prospects will be scheduled to go through a full workout and play three games. The potential of this event will rival that of other top tier PBR events like the Future Games, East Coast Games, West Coast Games, and Super 60.

Indiana University will host the workout day and games over the three day period. Bart Kaufman Field is a beautiful complex that was constructed in 2013 and played host for the NCAA Tournament on two occasions, hosting a four-team Regional in 2013 and 2014.

Prep Baseball is very excited to bring the top talent in the midwest and Canada to this facility. A high level playing surface, plus comfortable viewing areas for scouts, coaches, families and friends.

Prep Baseball Scouts will be looking to fill the Midwest Super Sophomore Games with the top 2027 graduates in each state/Canada. Scouting staffs in the areas will be using their upcoming events in the winter, spring, and early summer, as well as high school game evaluations, to set their teams.

Prep Baseball is the largest scouting organization in the country. With a blend of advanced analytics and a “boots on the ground” mentality, Prep Baseball has become a trusted and valued source for college coaches and Major League Baseball. The ability to bring the top 2027 graduates from around the midwest and Canada to one premier spot will continue to enhance the trust and reputation of Prep Baseball.
