The Ilinois Lightning took home the first place trophy, knocking off Slammers-Coyote by the score of 6-1 in the Championship Game. The Lightning won four playoff games (13-6, 5-1, 12-10 and 6-1) en-route to the title.
Bandits Baseball
Drew Iutzwig, 3B, Batavia, 2020
6-foot-5, 200-pound, right-handed hitting third baseman with an advanced, well-proportioned frame. Controls his body well at third base for his size. Arm works from a low ¾ slot. Offensively, open, crouched setup, with pre-pitch rhythm. Competitive, quality at-bats. Walked and also lined a single into center field.
Carlos Liz, RHP, Marmion, 2020
6-foot-1, 150-pound, long and lean, right-handed pitcher. Plenty of room for continued physical development. Short, over-the-top arm action. Stays on-line, and repeats delivery. Fastball, thrown for strikes, works straight, 76-78 mph. Mixed in a curveball with 10/4 action. Changeup, clocked at 71 mph.
Sam Thiem, DH, Batavia, 2020
6-foot-2, 205-pound, thick, sturdy, left-handed hitter. Offensively, open setup, early stride, gets back to even. Overall simple, handsy swing, line-drive approach. Hit a line-drive single to center field and left-center field. Also, lined out to shortstop.
Adam Bendoraitis, RHP/SS, Batavia, 2020
5-foot-10, 145-pound, wiry, right-handed pitcher/shortstop. On the mound, short, over-the-top arm action. Fastball works striaght, 75-76 mph, occasionally up in the zone. Curveball, flashed depth and action, 10/4 shape, 64 mph.
Jake Kleist, RF, Batavia, 2020
5-foot-11, 135-pound, long and lean, right-handed hitting infielder. Finished the day 2-for-3. Bunted for a single and ran a 4.21 down-the-line. Also, singled sharply to left field in the 7th inning.
Chicago Elite 15U
Zach Hise, RHP, Joliet Catholic, 2020
6-foot, 170-pound, wiry, athletic, right-handed pitcher. Works exclusively from the stretch, repeats delivery well, stays on-line with the plate, gets extension out front and easy effort throughout. Athletic, clean, loose arm out of a high 3.4 slot. Fastball, thrown for strikes, mostly straight, sat 78-82 mph, touching 83. Routinely went to his slider, got a number of swings and misses; maintains arm speed, tight spin, short, late break, 73-75 mph. High-follow 2020 right-handed pitcher.
Alec Murray, SS, Lincoln-Way East, 2020
5-foot-9, 150-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop. Sparkplug of the offense. Aggressive approach, ready to swing when he gets in the box. Jumped on the first pitch in his first three at-bats. Led off the game with a single back up the middle, 4.75 on the turn. In his second at-bat hit an infield single into the six-hole. Swung at the first pitch in his third at-bat and lined out to right field.
Davey Fitzpatrick, RF, Lincoln-Way East, 2020
6-foot-1, 160-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder. Highly-projectable frame with plenty of room for continued physical development. Pre-pitch rhythm, smooth load, simple approach and some looseness in swing. Walked, hit into a fielder's choice and singled into the right-center field gap. Long, easy strides on the bases, ran a 4.79 down the line on the fielder’s choice.
CIBA 15U
Otto Treichel, 1B, Madison West (WI), 2019
5-foot-9, 175-pound, strong, left-handed hitting first baseman with a thick lower half. Offensively, hits clean up for CIBA. Presence in the box, starts open, smooth load, sees pitches well and deep into the zone. Loose hands, creates bat speed and uses the whole field. Good overall feel for hitting. Hit a run-scoring double over the left-fielder's head. Also, drew a walk against a left-handed pitcher after working a long at-bat and fouling off multiple pitches.
Vinnie Fonti, Stevens Point (WI), 2020
5-foot-8, 155-pound, right-handed hitting catcher. Advanced defensive actions; quick and clean transfer and athletic arm action. Arm works short, clean and over-the-top; throws carry and are consistently around the bag at second base. Offensively, tall setup, slight pre-pitch rhythm.
Brandon Brewer, SS, Richland (WI), 2020
6-foot-1, 175-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop. Advanced, projectable frame. Defensively, flashed rangy, athletic actions. Reliable defender, soft hands, clean transfer with an easy arm that flashes carry across the diamond. At the plate, even, slightly crouched setup, short stride and aggressive swings at times. Plays the game hard.

Alejandro Mendez, SS, N/A, 2020
5-foot-9, 146-pound right-handed hitting shortstop with an athletic frame with room for development. Hits from an open setup with a leg kick trigger. Loose swing with above average bat speed for his age. Hit a no doubt home run to left field. Defensively, smooth actions with reliable hands. Throws had accuracy.
Joseph Pacana, RHP/1B, 2019
6-foot-2, 182-pound RHP/1B. On the mound, drop and drive delivery. Direction is in-line with a square landing. Short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, sat 76-79 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape, 63-65 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter with some strength. Balanced setup with a short stride. Path is long and level with some bat speed.
James Sibert, RHP, Huntley, 2020
6-foot-2, 160-pound right-handed pitcher with some projectability. Drop and drive delivery with an athletic finish. Short arm action with above average arm speed. Showed ability to throw all three pitches for strikes. Fastball, worked mostly straight, sat 76-79 mph. Splitter, sinking action, feel for his age, sat 69-70 mph. Slider, 64-67 mph.
Crystal Lake Cardinals
Zach Sessler, RHP
Right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame. Drop and drive delivery with a square landing. Short arm action from a high ¾ angle. Fastball, works mostly straight, sat 75-79 mph. Changeup, some run, 71 mph.
Christian Kasal, RHP
Lanky, right-handed pitcher with some projectability. Arm action is short from a high ¾ angle. Lands closed and falls off to the first base. Fastball, sat 74-77 mph. Changeup, some sink, 69-70 mph. Slider, 67-69 mph.
Jack Mahoney, RHP, St. Viator, 2020
6-foot-1, 170-pound, athletically built right-handed pitcher. One of the top arms in the tournament. Started at shortstop on varsity for 3A state champion St. Viator this past spring. On the mound, athletic, repeatable delivery, pounded the strike zone. Clean, quick arm. Fastball sat 82-86 mph. Mixed in a slider at 74 mph. High follow 2020 two-way prospect.
ESP Select 15U Black
#4 Bridges
Athletic, right-handed hitting centerfielder with some strength. Hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick trigger. Short, uphill path with quick hands. Strong contact on a deep home run to left-center field.
Frankfort Aces
#3 Aaron Shaw, CF
Lean, right-handed hitting center fielder. Leadoff hitter and sparkplug of the offense. Relaxed, balanced setup at the plate. Sees the ball a long time, controls the barrel and line-drive approach. Consistently put the ball in play and made hard contact over three games. Hit a double down the left-field line, lined a single to center, stole a base; 4.65 runner, home-to-first. Defensively, made a diving diving catch in center than threw out a runner at the plate.
#2 Slager, SS
Right-handed hitting shortstop. Hits in the two-hole for the Aces. Open setup, pre-pitch rhythm, consistently put balls in play, a lot of hard contact and uses the whole field. Hit two singles to right field in a game Saturday. Also, scored two runs and had an RBI. Defensively, accurate arm across the diamond.
#34 Wright, 1B
Extra-large, thick lower half, left-handed hitting first baseman. Crouched, slightly closed setup, short stride. Bat stays short to the ball, controls barrel, flashed bat strength. Hit a line drive single to right field and walked in a game Saturday. Also, singled and walked on Friday.

Andrew Hill, OF, Plainfield East, 2020
6-foot-1, 175-pound, athletic, right-handed hitting outfielder with wide shoulders. Hits from a balanced setup with a slight load and leg lift trigger. Pull-side approach, short path with bat speed. Gets out in front. Ability to back spin. Showed power potential with a homerun to left center and a flyout to the wall later in the game.
Mark Giordano, INF, 2020
Athletic, right-handed hitting infielder. Hits from an open stance, stride returns to even. Short path through the zone, pull-side approach. Showed the ability to find barrel. Had two multi-hit games to start the tournament.
Zane Tillotson
Right-handed hitter with an average frame. Hits from a balanced setup with a short stride. Line drive approach with a level path through the zone. Had two hard hits in the first game and a line out to left field.

Nick Nielsen, OF, Peshtigo, 2020
Athletic, right-handed hitting centerfielder with a strong frame. Upright, slightly open setup at the plate. Stays open on stride. Short, uphill swing path. Gets good jumps in the outfield.
Cam Dupont, 1B, West De Pere, 2020
6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting first baseman with a lanky projectable frame. Crouched open setup at the plate with loose hands.
Thomas Otto, C, Appleton North, 2020
6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting catcher with present strength in the upper half. Showed flexibility in the lower half, blocks pitches well. Projects to hit for power in the future. Open setup with a leg kick stride. Uphill path with a fast bat.
Reed Hafeman, OF, Hortonville, 2020
Strong, lanky frame. Left-handed hitting outfielder. At the plate hits from a crouched setup with good rhythm and balance. Had an RBI groundout in game, 4.70 down the line.

Ryan Stefiuk, LHP, Green Bay Preble (WI), 2020
Vanderbilt commit, ranked No. 1 in the Wisconsin 2020 class. 6-foot-3, 200-pound, highly athletic, strong, left-handed pitcher. Delivery works with rhythm, stays on-line and lands closed. Quick arm out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball worked mostly straight, occasional cut, 78-82 mph. Curveball flashed depth and tight spin, inconsistent feel, 1/7 shape, 63 mph.
Jake Berg, DH, Bay Port (WI), 2020
5-foot-10, 175-pound, athletically built, left-handed hitter. Was the designated hitter and hit in the two-hole in this game. Balanced, slightly open setup, short leg-lift timing trigger and maintains balance through contact. Controls the barrel, line-drive approach and uses the whole field. Lined a single to left field and also lined out to center field.
Max Wagner, INF, Green Bay Preble (WI), 2020
Strong, athletically built, right-handed hitting infielder. Aggressive approach at the plate, swings with intent and present strength and bat speed. Doubled to center field in his first at-bat of the day. Later in the day, one-hopped the left-center field wall for a triple, 4.70 on the turn. Also, lined a single to right field. Looks to be a high-level right-handed bat in the 2020 class.
Nick Smith, EH, Waunakee (WI), 2020
6-foot-2, 205-pound, extra-large, two-way prospect. On the mound, loose arm action out of a high ¾ slot and easy effort in delivery. Fastball comes out of the hand clean and easy, occasional arm-side-run, sat 77-81 mph. Showed good feel for curveball, worked 10/4, good depth, 63-64 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, quiet, balanced setup. Stays short to the ball with bat strength. Lined out hard to center field.
Eddie Saucedo, RHP/DH. Edgewood (WI), 2020
5-foot-8, 135-pound, wiry, two-way prospect. Left-handed hitter, open, tall setup, calm and comfortable demeanor in the box. Loose swing, bat stays through the hitting zone. Also, came into pitch in relief. Right-handed pitcher, clean, athletic arm action, repeats well. Fastball sat 72-74 mph. Mixed in a breaking ball at 55 mph.
Taiten Manriquez, SS, Waunakee (WI), 2020
Currently ranked No. 10 in the Wisconsin 2020 rankings. 5-foot-10, 135-pound, wiry, right-handed hitting infielder. Advanced defensive actions and hands; defends with flair at times, hands work soft and out in front of his body. Arm plays from the left-side of the infield. Offensively, tall, open setup, confident in the box and leg-kick timing trigger. Stays short to the ball, looks to control the barrel. High-follow 2020 infielder.
Jess Ondell, RHP, Lacrosse Aquinas (WI), 2020
5-foot-9, 180-pound, two-way prospect with a strong lower half. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, quick arm from a ¾ to high ¾ slot. Fastball flashed life, arm-side-run, thrown for strikes, 80-81 mph, touched 82 twice. Flashed a sharp breaking ball, tight spin, 10/4 shape.
Hammerheads - Teal
#9 Martinez, SS
Undersized shortstop. Defensively, flashed soft hands and ability to make the routine play. Also, made a diving play in the hole. At the plate, line-drive approach.
IL Predators 15U
Ian Westerman, RHP, Kankakee, 2020
Well-proportioned, lean, right-handed pitcher. Directional to home plate, repeats delivery and showed three pitches for a strike. Fastball works straight, 70-72 mph. Curveball worked 11/5, thrown for strikes, 60-61 mph. Flashed a breaking ball, slider action, more 10/4 shape, 64-65 mph.
Jimmy Koskinas, SS, Manteno, 2020
Small framed, right-handed hitting shortstop. Defensively, steady, reliable defender, flashed range, making plays to both sides. Good body control and able to throw from multiple angles. Arm played with occasional carry across the diamond. Offensively, crouched, static setup. Short and quick to the baseball. Ambushed a first pitch fastball and hit a line-drive single into left-center field.

Zachary Malis, MIF, Glenbrook South, 2020
5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Tall setup at the plate, Long, uphill swing path. Drove a double off the wall in left field.
Nick Serr, SS Minooka, 2020
5-foot-9, 130-pound right-handed hitting infielder with a lanky frame. Tall, balanced, open setup at the plate with fluid rhythm. Short, uphill swing path with loose hands and a fast bat. Long strides on the base paths. Drove an RBI single to left field in game. Defensively has athletic actions with a quick transfer. Strong accurate throws on the turn. Can play on the run. Plays with confidence.
Danny Pauletto, RHP, Glenbrook South, 2020
5-foot-6, 115-pound right-handed pitcher. Came in relief for the Indians. Slide step delivery from the stretch, works from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Some effort in delivery with an open landing. Fastball sat 73-75 topping out at 77 mph with heavy running action at times.
ILLINOIS INDIANS - RED
Alex Alverio, C, Roberto Clemente, 2020
6-foot, 185-pound strong-bodied catcher. Showed quick transfer and release behind the plate; registered a 2.19 in game pop time. Throws were on-line and around the bag.

Anthony Mangano, SS, Lake Zurich, 2020
5-foot-11, 155-pound, athletic, left-handed hitting shortstop. Should continue to get stronger as he matures. Hits from a balanced setup, short stride, smooth load. Line drive approach, path stays level through the zone. Present bat speed. Showed ability to hit line drives to all fields. Went 3-for-4 in Friday’s game with a double, and 2 RBI. Defensively, smooth actions with soft hands. Throws had accuracy across the diamond.
Noah Deluga, OF/LHP, Lake Zurich, 2020
6-foot-1, 175-pound, left-handed hitting centerfielder/left-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic frame. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride. Fluid rhythm, path works short. Ability to make consistent hard contact. Hit a long home run to right-center. Defensively, has above average arm strength for his age. Makes quick reads and showed range in center with fluid footwork. On the mound works from a high ¾ slot, square landing, works in line with home plate, short arm circle on the backside, quick arm. Fastball sat 84-85 with some run. Second inning worked more in the 80-82 mph range with occasional cut. Breaking ball had a 2/7 shape 69-70 mph.
Logan Delgado, C, Antioch, 2020
5-foot-11, 180-pound, athletic, left-handed hitting catcher. Hits from a slightly open setup with good balance throughout. Short path with some bat speed. Showed ability to find barrel with a home run and a double in his second game of the day. Clocked at 4.37 home to first.
James Piggott, 1B/OF, Lake Zurich, 2020
6-foot-3, 183-pound left-handed hitter, long, lean frame, should continue to fill out frame. Offensively, hits from an open stance, crouched setup. Efficient path, slightly uphill, consistent hard contact. Pull side power showcased by a grand slam on Friday to right center and a double his next time up. Ended the game going 3-for-4 with a HR, 2B, and 6 RBI.
Matt Wingen, OF, Fremd, 2020
6-foot-1, 165-pound outfielder, lean, athletic frame. Showed gap-to-gap power going 2-for-2 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.

Ben Lopez, 1B
Athletic, left-handed hitting first baseman. Hits from a slightly open setup with a short stride. Path is short and level. Defensively, showed feel around the bat at first with reliable hands.
Lincoln Way Vipers - Mergenthaler
Jalen Rannells, P/3B, Lockport, 2019
6-foot, 170-pound, right-handed hitting third baseman with a strong frame. Hits from an open setup with a slight leg kick. Path stays level through the zone with strength through contact. Singled and walked in a game later in the weekend.
John Kruzel, 1B/OF, Lincoln-Way East, 2020
6-foot-4, 220-pound, strong, big-bodied, left-handed hitting first baseman. Hits from a balanced setup with a short stride. Smooth load with a level path through the zone. Had two hits in the first game, including a sharp single to left field. In a game later in the weekend,hit a three-run home run and walked.
Jaden Rozak, OF, Lincoln-Way East, 2020
6-foot, 170-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder. Hits from an open setup, stride returns to even. Short path through the zone with above average bat speed for his age. Multiple hard hit balls including a homerun to left center.

6-foot-2, long, athletically built, left-handed hitting shortstop. Offensively, open setup, high hands, simple stride and bat has length through the hitting zone. Walked twice. Defensively, steady defender, throws from multiple angles and accurate arm across the diamond.
George Evangelopoulous, LHP, Stagg, 2021
6-foot, wiry, athletic, left-handed pitcher. Advanced pitchability for his age. Good mound presence, repeats delivery, stays on-line and pounded the strike zone throughout. Clean, loose, short arm out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 73-75 mph, mostly straight, occasional arm-side-action. Good feel for curveball, 1/7 shape, depth and 67 mph.
Trevor Thurston, C, Marian Catholic, 2020
Athletically built, right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, soft hands, receives well, sticks pitches in the zone. Arm works short and over-the-top. Offensively, open setup, rhythm and presence in the batter’s box. See’s a lot of pitches, rarely chases out of the hitting zone. Short bat path and flashed a loose swing.

5-foot-11, 150-pound, right-handed hitting C/OF with some strength. Offensively, hits from a balanced setup with a short stride. Pull-side approach. Path works long and level through the zone. Takes aggressive swings.
Nathan Jendraskiewicz, 1B, Oswego East, 2020
6-foot-2, 190-pound, left-handed hitting first baseman with a physical frame. Hits from a tall setup. Path is short and uphill. Showed off strength on a double off the wall in right-center.

Right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame. Drop and drive delivery with some rhythm, in line direction. Long, loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, works mostly straight, sat 74-77 mph. Changeup, some arm side run, 71-72 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 65 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter with a gap-to-gap approach. Path is short and quick to the ball.

5-foot-7, 135-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Jumped on a first pitch fastball for a single to left centerfield.

Joey Humphrey, C, Lewis Cass (IN), 2020
5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher with a strong, durable frame. Defensively has soft hands, quiet receiver. Flexible lower half. Short arm action from an over the top slot. Accurate throws with carry from the crouch. Popped 2.11 in game. Balanced setup at the plate, short level swing path. Line drive hitter with a balanced, even setup. Went to the opposite field for an RBI line drive single.
Andrew Holt, RHP, Lewis Cass (IN), 2020
Works from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action and slight wrap on the backside. Drop and drive delivery with an open landing working in line with home plate. Fastball sat 76-78 topping out at 80 mph. Curveball sat 63-65 mph with 10-4 shape. Will continue to improve as he works to consistently get on top of the baseball.
Grant Herron, 3B, Center Grove (IN), 2020
6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitting third baseman with a lanky frame. Loose hands at the plate, showed the ability to find the barrel. Creates leverage in swing. Drove a ball deep to centerfield for a double in game. Defensively moves well for size on the infield. Accurate arm across the infield.
Alex Thurston, SS, Benton Central (IN), 2020
5-foot-9, 135-pound right-handed hitting shortstop with an athletic frame. Tall, slightly open setup at the plate with fluid rhythm. Loose hands, generates easy bat speed. Athletic actions in the field with soft hands. Short arm action from an over the top slot. Arm is playable across the infield. Singled and scored a run in game. Moves well first to third. 4.50 runner down the line. Kept hands back on a breaking ball and drove a line drive RBI single into left field.
Jack Murphy, UTL, McCutcheon (IN), 2020
Doubled to the fence in left field. 4.75 on the turn. Balanced setup with a level swing path and good balance at the plate.
Mason Douglas, OF, McCutcheon (IN), 2020
Lanky left-handed outfielder. Takes good routes in the outfield. Ran down a ball deep in the gap.

Alex Kelsch, MIF, Oswego East, 2020
5-foot-6, 145-pound, right-handed hitting shortstop. Hits in the three hole for the Cobras. Open, crouched setup, relaxed in the box. Stays short to the ball, competitive at-bats; 4.87 runner, home-to-first.

Jarrett Ramer, RHP/1B, Kenosha Bradford (WI), 2019
5-foot-11, 155-pound, RHP/1B with a strong build. On the mound, drop and drive delivery, in line with a square landing. Loose Arm action is short and quick from an over the top angle. Fastball, mostly straight, sat 80-82 mph. Curveball, thrown for strikes, 69-70 mph. Changeup, firm, 76 mph. Offensively, hits from a open setup with a short stride. Path works uphill with bat speed.
Jared Heinzen, 3B, Kenosha Tremper, 2019
Lanky, athletic right-handed hitting third baseman. Offensively, slightly open setup with a short stride with balance. Path works level through the zone. Line drive hitter. Defensively, showed range to glove side with reliable hands. Accurate throws across the diamond.
Jake Guessert, RHP, St. Josephs, 2020
5-foot-11, 160-pound lean, athletic frame. Right-handed pitcher, works from a high ¾ slot, short arm circle on the backside. Fastball was 73-76 with slight arm side run. Curveball was 64-69 mph with an 11/5 shape and depth.
Christian Brenner, C, Burlington, 2020
6-foot-1, 185 pound left-handed hitting catcher. Physical, athletic frame. Offensively, relaxed, open, upright stance, fast bat.
Carter Perusich, MIF/C, Indian Trail, 2020
5-foot-10, 160-pound multi-positional athlete. Offensively, hits from a balanced set up, high hands, with an efficient, uphill path through the zone. Ended the game going 2-for-2 with a RBI, BB, and 2 runs scored.
Pilsen Bandits
Carlos Garcia, INF, Holy Trinity, 2020
5-foot-4, 140-pound, right-handed hitting infielder. Open, athletic setup, pre-pitch rhythm and confidence in the box. In the first game of the day, hit a line-drive single to center field and doubled to left field. Bat stays flat through the zone and gets extension at times.
Xavier Sanchez, C, Holy Trinity, 2020
5-foot-9, 155-pound, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, flashed a strong arm from behind the plate; throws carry with slight arm-side-run. Pop times in between innings ranged between 2.18-2.33. Willing blocker, sticks pitches. Solid overall defensive catcher. Offensively, crouched setup, consistently put the ball in play. Had a sacrifice fly in game one and had an RBI single back up the middle in game two of the day.
Alonzo Raigosa, SS, Solorio, 2020
5-foot-11, 160-pound, athletically built, right-handed hitting shortstop. Frame has plenty more room for physical development. Highly-advanced defensive shortstop.
