Over the next few weeks, our staff will periodically dive into each of our recently updated rankings and spotlight key players in each class. Today, we take a look at an uber-projectable two-way lefty in the 2025 class who looks to make a big splash for perennial powerhouse Georgetown Prep this upcoming Spring.

On the bump, Weiss features a strong three pitch mix with feel for all three in the zone. Utilizing an easy-effort delivery, Weiss works from a three-quarter slot with some deception through release. The fastball plays to all quadrants of the zone into the mid 80's, mixing in a devastating changeup that fades to the arm side and a sharp slider that induces consistent swing and miss. At the dish, the hands are loose with some twitch through contact, showcasing plenty of strength to the pull side (97.8 mph Max Exit Velocity per TrackMan). A strong line drive approach with present doubles power should transfer to bigger power numbers once more strength is added to the frame. A two-way athlete with a very high ceiling.
