With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

Head Coach: Trent Thomas
Division: II
2017 Record: 5-18
Conference Record: 2-5
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/6
2018 Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: We need to improve on pretty much every aspect of the game from a year ago. As coaches we have learned a great deal from our slow start a year ago and have taken the steps necessary to deal with it this season. We have good players it is just about getting prepared in a short window to compete in a tough league and in our non-conference games.
PBR Outlook: Coach Trent Thomas has 8 starters returning from a down 2017 season, but looks for improvement in 2018 from his guys. I also see improvement coming from a team that is normally toward the top of the difficult NWOAL.
