WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expectations for Team - In 2023 the Bruins knocked on the door of the State Championship series, only to be turned away. Now in 2024, they return just about every key contributor, plus they are another year bigger and stronger. There will be challenges, but the goal for 2024 is to take one more step.
From the Coach, Expected Team Strength:
Strong Senior Class, Robbie Beckner, Wes Hyatt, TJ. Norvell. Strong Jr. Bradley Elais
THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:
Excited to see the matchups against the 3A schools in conference (Currituck, First Flight) and how we as a 2A matchup against them. Currituck has potential of reaching the Eastern Regionals in the 3A. First Flight is another team to keep an eye on in the 3A. We have everyone returning except 1 senior (LF). After our Eastern Regional Runner-up last year, the expectations are high for us to make noise in the conference as well as in the 2A State Playoffs
