WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

Expectations for Team -  Co-Conf Champions last year with high expectations again this year. Pitching depth and a deep lineup will give them a chance to make a run at a conference title again this year.

From the Coach, Expected Team Strength:
As a team we are excited about our returning pitching staff. This should be a team strength this year for the Lions. The top returning arms are Issac Snapp, James Cosper, and Will Andrews. Austin Price is returning as well and a top option out of the bullpen. We also have the addition of Grant Gardner RHP who committed to Davidson this past fall.Behind the plate we return Ethan Andujar one of the top catchers in the city in regard to catching and throwing. This version of the Covenant Day Lions will hit and expected to put up some runs this season.         

THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:

Once again, the CISAA will be the most competitive private school conference in the state. I expect Charlotte Christian to bounce back along with Providence Day and Charlotte Country Day making a run at a conference title.
