WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

Expectations for Team - Expecting to put up runs this year, the Panthers are going to rely on the 7 returners to do that damage.

From the Coach, Expected Team Strength
We return 9 Jrs and Srs that got consistent AB's last year. We are excited about being able to put a solid batting order together every day this year, and we feel confident we can score runs against most teams/pitching staffs.

THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:

Watauga should have a very solid club this year. Alexander Central and South Caldwell always have good teams and deep pitching staffs. Competing against these 4A schools in our "conference" is always a challenge. Ashe Co. was much improved last year and should give us a good challenge in our 3A division.
