WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

Expectations for Team - A old team returning their top 3 arms will give them a chance to compete in conference.  With 7 returners in the lineup should give them a chance to compete in the box.

From the Coach, Expected Team Strength -
1. Leadership is a strength.  We have a strong group of leaders in our junior and senior classes.2. We will be returning our top 3 pitchers in total innings from the 2023 season.  (Erwing Soza, Liam Fulbright, & Trey Costner)

THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:
Burns will have a chance to repeat as the 2A state champion.  They are returning the conference pitcher of the year as well as the conference position player of the year.- Cherryville will be strong as usual.  They have two very good pitchers returning as well as two very talented freshmen coming in for the 2024 season.- East Gaston has a chance to build on last year's success as they have had some good young talent that will be returning to play some important roles this year.- Highland Tech will be looking to carry over momentum into this season from a run to the 3rd round of the state playoffs last year.
