WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

Expectations for Team - With 5 pitchers returning including one of the states best Nc State commit Anderson Nance who can match up with anyone. A senior led team with 8 returners a deep playoff run is likely in order.

From the Coach, Expected Team Strength -
Pitching, defense, athleticism on the base paths, and depth. 8 returning starters plus some young talent that has a chance to contribute in spots. 9 seniors that will provide a player-led team that has a chance to contend for a conference and state championship.

THOUGHTS ON THE CONFERENCE:

The Mid-State 2A conference features 2 programs that made it to the Elite 8 last year or beyond. West Stokes (Elite 8) and Morehead High School (2A West Regional Runner Up). The job that Coach Goodson has done and continues to do with West Stokes is top-notch. Elite coach, competitor, mentor and friend. We are excited to challenge them for the regular season championship as well as the conference tournament championship.
