With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Canfield Cardinals

2023 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Field
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/4

Coach Outlook: "Young, talented and determined, led by 2 seniors providing leadership. We lost an unbelievable senior class of 8, 4 of which are playing at the next level this season. They left a lot of holes to fill this season. This year we are led by our 2 seniors Michael Patellis and Trent Rarick. We have a very big and talented incoming freshman class that will play a pivotal role in our success this year. I'm sure it will take a while to find our footing early in the season, but hope to gain valuable experience with a very difficult schedule to prepare us for the postseason."
