With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Kenston Bombers

Team Name: Kenston Bombers
Head Coach: Joe Hritz
Division: II
2023 Record: 21-13
2023 Tourney Finish: Division II State Champion
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/7

Coach Outlook: "Every year is interesting at the beginning as we start to figure out who will take over open positions from graduated senior starters. This is a special year as we are coming off of a State Championship at the Div. 2 level. The program will have to deal with many challenges that were not previously faced such as complacency and an overall drive to return to the top. While the challenge is high, it will be exciting to watch our new Seniors step into even larger leadership roles and guide some of the younger players through the trials and tribulations that come along with a tough Spring season. Our schedule is packed with previous state and poll champions from the past few years. This combined with one of the best baseball conferences in the State will hopefully help us prepare and get in the swing of things for the 2024 tournament. Looking forward to another fun year."
