With 2023 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2024. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2024 Spring Team Preview: Olentangy Berlin Bears

Team Name: Olentangy Berlin Bears
Head Coach: Mike Weaver

2023 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Gahanna Lincoln
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/4

Coach Outlook: "We return 9 Seniors, 2 who have started for us since their freshman year. 6 of them were regular starters in the field for us last season including Maddox Pulliam who led us in hitting. We also return 4 quality arms from last year, including OCC Player of the Year and First Team All-District Pitcher Kyle Haag. Parker McDaniel's has been our starting catcher since his freshman year and his experience is invaluable. We will be relying on a few talented Juniors this year to replace a few keys spots lost to graduation and injury but we are excited about their development and looking forward to seeing them compete."
